Your body does belong to you, and when you're having sex alone you should do absolutely anything that gives you pleasure.

But when there is another body--another person--involved, you have a responsibility to be careful of their emotions. Hook-up sex can easily become impersonal, like "I'm horny, you're convenient." That has a dehumanizing effect on people, making it more difficult to establish trusting relationships.
