Yes, that can still happen. Happens every day. For life? That is more likely than a big win on the lotto, but only slightly.

Problems with that as a solution:

1. These guys are FAR from ready for marriage. They have a lot of growing up to do, plus major mental health issues to address.

2. Marriage as an institution is declining, in part because women are wising up to what a bad deal it represents for them.

3. Churches are social organizations, with all the same challenges these guys face in every other social organization. They wouldn't fit in any better there than they do anywhere else.
