Yeah, I guess our attitudes reveal our age. Getting to know each other first has always been a good idea for a lot of reasons, including establishing a level of communication that makes it less likely that there will be misunderstandings regarding consent.

The “conquest” mentality is slowly changing, which is a good thing, but it’s far from gone. A woman who is “easy” now may not lack standards; she may just be a woman who loves sex and sees no reason not to connect with any man she finds attractive. As long as she is careful to make sure he’s just as ready as she is, more power to her.
