What a compelling story! I had never heard of TPN, and you explain both the condition and the experience beautifully.

This is the kind of story (and the quality of story) that would be accepted for paid publication in any number of places. It would need to be reworked, not because of any flaws but simply because you have already published it here and can't submit it as unpublished work. But you should definitely check it out if you're interested in earning money for your work.

One more thought. I'm sure some poems came out of the experience. You might consider making a collection, either full or chapbook length, for publication as a book. Our relationship with food and eating is so basic to our existence, and you have gone where most of us cannot imagine being.
