Well, I’m glad to hear that you regard the equality of the sexes as mainstream and non-controversial, as indeed it should be. And since you seem to think gender pay gaps are a distortion, perhaps I may assume you think that equal pay for equal work is a desirable policy.

You claim you’ve never met the kind of feminist I have described here, but you pivot to describe “the most vocal self described feminists,” as if all feminists were in that group. And you deride that group for being angry at men, implying that they have no cause to be, and go on to demean them as undesirable as dating partners (nowhere near the top 10%) — as if that had anything to do with anything — and having no hope of “catching” a desirable man.

The feminists I am describing here include the vast majority who are too busy with their lives to be very politically engaged, and who prefer not to be strident or confrontational in ordinary situations (including dates). These are women who enjoy the company of men as friends, colleagues, and dating partners, but they tend to have high standards, because they are confident of their own worth. I have no doubt you’ve met a lot of them but didn’t realize (because you didn’t ask) that they were feminists.
