Well damn. I turn my back on this place for a few days so that I can grade my students' final projects, and my best boo gets the miseries. Not that it has anything to do with me--I'm not that powerful--but I wish I'd known.

Once again, just like with that thing last week or whenever, you show your wisdom dealing with the situation. You're right--you don't make it go away, you recognize it, call it by its name, and live with it. Exactly what you couldn't do when you were younger. When this passes, you'll be more confident than ever of your own resilience.

Meanwhile, I hope you can find some comfort in the confidence your fan club has in you.
