We all want company, love, and sex, though not necessarily in that order. Part of what makes dating such a minefield is that we have to guess the other's priorities.
Me, I want to make a friend, and only then consider whether more is possible. How can I know if I've found someone I can love before we've spent some time together? But I guess I'm out of touch with how it's done these days.
