Unfortunately, I had no one to offer me that guidance when my muse returned (in person--but that's another story). Fortunately, I was 50 by that time and had the patience and the vocabulary to pick up the principles within my first few years.

During those first few years, though, I did write some clunkers.

An unrhymed limerick? Ouch. I guess I had that coming.
