Please understand, my rejection is not of all Christians--many are my closest friends--or of all pastors and/or congregations--many are admirable and inspiring. I have known many hypocrites, as have we all, but their issues don't offend me.

Neither do I think anyone is entitled to say who is and isn't a "real" Christian. If the choice to join is made sincerely, then one is a member of that body. It's the fundamentalists who want to test others for doctrinal purity.

But The Church is a political entity that I refuse to support, regardless of how much good is done by many of its members.
