Believer? No, I would not call myself by that term. As I said in the article, believing hadn't been a big part of my faith for some years even before I left. I believed in the teachings--to love others as yourself, forgive, seek justice for the poor, be humble, don't put faith in money, and so on. But believing in heaven/hell, a personal savior, or a conscious god who listens to prayers--all that's a bridge too far for me. I'm a Unitarian Universalist now, same liberal/humanistic principles as the Lutherans, UCC, and such, but no creeds, atheists welcome.
