Thank you for this thoughtful response, Patrina. I believe we’re seeing the problem from similar perspectives, and we’ve reached many of the same conclusions.

I would encourage you to publish your views in an article of your own. I see you’re new here, but you express yourself well, and it would be helpful to see feminism promoted more from a Christian perspective, since so many Christians only get to hear the right-wing view and (as you point out) are even told feminism is anti-Christian — a view I’m pretty certain Jesus would never have endorsed.
