Thank you for this obviously sincere effort to educate me. However, I have decades of study, not just of scripture but of history, theology, philosophy, and and social sciences, enough to see the factual errors and logical fallacies in your arguments.

Moreover, you are starting from the assumptions that (1)your version of Christianity is the only real or valid one, (2)the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and (3)the theology promoted by the fundamentalists and evangelicals actually represents the teachings of Yeshua the Nazarene. In my opinion, none of those assumptions bears any resemblance to the truth.

Since you have gone to so much trouble to write this lengthy discourse, why not publish it? I'm sure you would find readers here who would agree with you and appreciate your speaking up for their beliefs.
