Thank you, Edwina, for those kind words and for checking out my article. I don't have as much direct experience with that phenomenon as most women do, and little from my professional time. I've observed other men's bluster and implicit threats toward women, of course, in public settings, in the media, and in personal interactions, so I know how pervasive it is. It's embarrassing to me as a man, and frustrating since I want to guard others against bullying and violence, but I don't want to be paternalistic. So yes, I'll want to write about the problem at some point, once I figure out what I can contribute to the conversation.
