I have no doubt that the universe is governed by laws that are fair in the sense of being evenly applied to all matter everywhere. Gravity, for instance, plays no favorites.

When you speak of human creative thought processes, you hit me close to home. I would like to think the energy of our will and the quality of our imagination can bring send new ripples through the fabric of space-time, but all I can say for sure is that the act of creation does good things for how I feel.

I wish I could believe our good will and good intentions could protect the defenseless from oppression and exploitation by greedy and shameless. That would be a start toward real fairness, but only if enough of us were practicing it consistently.
