Some friendly teasing is benign, just as some jokes are funny. But the social pressures on young people is neither, and to dismiss it as "all in fun" is to ignore the damage--to men and women both--caused by patriarchal and misogynistic attitudes.

"You shouldn't be so sensitive" is the phrase used by bullies everywhere, along with "I was only joking." Wake up. People die from being bullied.
