So sad that you were victimized that way, then revictimized by a man you loved and trusted. No way to know what your boyfriend was thinking of--not wanting to believe men do such things, not wanting to feel obligated to confront your assailant, not wanting to think too hard about times he might have violated consent with alcohol for an excuse, or what. But as you say, his cowardly response revealed the shallowness of his own character.

I'm glad you're in a better place now. Thanks for sharing your story.
