Rape culture, like racism, does yield profits for some people. Male privilege is as real as White privilege. To pretend otherwise is to support the status quo.

But that kind of profit or privilege diminishes the quality of my world. The suffering of others brings no joy to me. The racist patriarchal homophobic plutocracy America has become is abhorrent to me, and to be a "winner" in that system gives me nothing but shame.

Rape culture is a perpetual obstacle to real partnerships and even genuine friendships between men and women. You may call it benefit, but I desire no part of it.
