Maybe I have been giving her too much credit, or too much slack because of her ASD. I really have been impressed with a lot of her essays, but being a good literary citizen requires respect and courtesy to readers as well as other writers. I certainly should not have ignored the dig at depressed people, which is kind of most of us these days.
