Joyce and Proust are not to everybody's taste. Neither is a West Coast IPA or a Stravinsky ballet. Those are aesthetic judgments, endlessly debatable, though good manners should prevail in such debates. But why would anybody stake out and defend a position on a factual issue easily resolved on Google?
