It's been a few years since I got to host a family Turkey Day, though last year I managed to pull a few classmates together for Friendsgiving on the Saturday after. It'll be just me and my son this year, but cooking is still part of who I am, so there's be a bird, a pie, and my 25+ component (not counting seasonings) dressing.
Sounds like you've found the perfect balance for these out-of-joint times--three generations yet still safely intimate. That plus the balance you've achieved internally, your stable center in the midst of issues everywhere we turn.
