It sure does sound like this marriage had 2 strikes against it from the start. When the groom spends the wedding day getting drunk and avoiding his new bride, it's sure to be an uphill climb from there. No doubt you're better off without him.

On the other hand, the bonding that takes place in sex is often what sustains a marriage through the difficult times. What happens in bed can't be separated from what happens out of bed; it's all part of the partnership.
