It has a cult following in my generation, but I included it since I'm not sure how many younger people have discovered it. I think Persig turned a lot of people on to philosophy--so much easier to read than Plato.

Yes, by all means look for any of the others here. Most of them will hook you on the first chapter if not the first page.
