In the days before indoor smoking bans became the norm (the law) in the US, some restaurants attempted to placate the pro-breathing coalition by reserving certain tables for non-smokers. What a joke! Smoking sections in restaurants are like peeing sections in swimming pools.

Sharing is a great concept, but those who make the rules need to think logically and practically. High-speed and low-speed activities are not compatible without protective barriers.
