If type 1a were the only--or most common--form of FGM, you might have a case to make. But it is not, by any stretch. Neither is it identical in impact, though it is anatomically analogous.

Male circumcision is unnecessary, and no doubt it is painful to the infant. But I know of no one who remembers the experience, regards himself as mutilated, feels traumatized by the procedure, or has lost the ability to experience pleasure in sex as a result of it.

Like most anti-feminist men, you are just looking for excuses to resist acknowledging that feminism is nothing more than common sense and basic justice.
