If all the evangelicals were doing was to comfort one another and attempt to mend a broken world, I'd say, "No harm, no foul."

If atheists were going door to door to try to persuade believers they should give up their beliefs, that would be obnoxious.

But it's a false equivalence. One side is promoting intolerance, ignorance, and misogyny while railing against vaccines and masks and trying to bring back 45. That's not a "live and let live" position.

What's wrong with posting the 10 Commandments in government buildings? Mainly that the first 4 of them specifically promote a specific religion, which is a violation of the 1st Amendment to our constitution. Keeping church and government apart is essential to protecting both. When that wall breaks down, we get what they have in Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
