I often wonder why English or literature teachers don't do more to make poetry accessible and fun. It was a problem when I taught CW at UCA--so many students came in expecting poetry to be boring and/or incomprehensible.

But maybe they aren't taught how to enjoy it themselves. It makes all the difference when you're passionate about what you're teaching, and passionate about teaching it.
