I certainly do see the irony of Americans becoming refugees. Someone else has already pointed out to me that I am unlikely to be welcome anywhere at my age.

But the irony is kind of the point, is it not? Not wanting to live in a country that hoards its wealth and turns its back on human desperation.

And if Trump manages somehow to stay in power, I sincerely believe there will be an exodus of thousands from our shores seeking homes wherever we can find them..
