I can categorically state that none of what you have written simply is true.

Your views and reads depend on the quantity and quality of your production as a writer, on the topics you write about, and on the mysterious algorithms that control how articles are distributed. My views last September were close to 100K; in March they were under 5K.

As for curation, I publish 3 articles on relationships last summer that were curated and earned 350, 700, and 3600 dollars. The next article I published on the same topic was in January. I thought is was equal in quality to the other 3, but it was not curated and ended up earning about 10 dollars.
