I agree about his wish. He was never interested in the job of president, only the title. What he really wants is to be our Don.

But I see no evidence of strategy at work in him, only narcissistic impulse. He could have had the reelection, and with it the opportunity to complete his subversion of our constitutional democracy, if only he were not too blind to recognize his opportunity.
