Excellent article, Renata. You make a number of solid points here, useful things for anyone to ponder whose love life isn't shaping up the way it ought to.
One point I would add is that dating involves a different skillset from long-term relationships. Someone might be a terrific marriage prospect but unlikely to get discovered, just because he or she doesn't look or act like date material.
The dating world--especially in the Tinder culture--favors physical appearance above all, but also works best for those with money, cars, nice clothes, extraverted personalities, quick wit, interesting jobs, no children, homes in the city, etc.
All of this is why I think dating is a terrible way to look for a partner. Unfortunately, it's just about the only game in town.
