Beautiful and thought-provoking article. A few thoughts:
I'm not a fan of traditional dating, meaning relationships that begin when strangers meet in search of lovers. Love and sex should be explored only in the context of well-established friendships.
Marriage--when defined as lifelong monogamy--seems to work for some couples, but not so often as to justify holding it up as the standard for what everyone should seek. It puts too much pressure on the relationship to be each other's whole support system, especially when parenting.
Everyone needs touch. We don't have to go full-on bonobo to get over our reflexive jealousy and start being generous with physical affection. The world is just too full of lonely people.
