Beautiful and poignant.

The turning of the seasons has long been a source of inspiration for me. It must be wonderful to live so close to nature (which to me means the forest) and see the changes as they come. And to watch your garden sprout and blossom, bear and ripen. Now that I'm back on more familiar soil and have more time to dig (and yes to write!), I'm ready to go find a patch to till and seed next spring.

The fallow times are hard, for sure. And yet . . .
