As we age, I think most of us face that kind of realizations. Yes, we all have much to answer for, sins of omission and commission both. (No, I’m not religious, but I do believe in sin.)

And many men commit assaults of that sort, not knowing what they do, because of how they have been taught to think about women and consent. Not all of them ever realize their errors, but those who do, do suffer from the guilt of it.
