Are we having fun yet?

I can laugh about it now, but truth is, it's every bit as rough as you describe. It amazes me that anyone--or any marriage--lasts for long enough to see the children grown.

I don't think it has to be that way. We made family living so much harder when we stopped living in big multi-generation households with multiple adults to share the parenting and other loads.
