Another for the archives! Brava!

I never fail to be impressed by your command of the literature in everything you write about, and by your ability to synthesize from it strong arguments. This one is particularly compelling and timely, as evidenced by the painful squeals from those who want to seem themselves as the pinnacles of human evolution.

You may have covered this before, but one other sad consequence of the agrarian revolution was a gradual (but continuing) downward trend in the quality of our nutrition. We have more to eat now, but our food crops lack diversity, leading to a wide array of metabolic disorders afflicting millions of people.
